Following graduation from Indiana University, Brian returned to Indianapolis and enrolled at Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis (now known as the Robert H. McKinney School of Law).  During law school, he interned with the United States Bankruptcy Court Southern District of Indiana.  Brian also clerked for a general practice law firm.

Prior to graduating from law school, Brian passed the bar exam for the State of Indiana.  Upon receiving his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree, he worked in the tax department of the international accounting firm Arthur Andersen & Company.  Following his employment at Arthur Andersen, Brian was an associate attorney with a law firm which practiced primarily in the area of insurance defense litigation.  During that time, Brian began to practice in the areas of estate administration and estate planning.  Brian then joined a law firm as an associate attorney (and later as a partner) practicing primarily in the areas of estate planning, trusts, guardianships, estate administration, business transactions and real estate.  These practice areas remain the primary focus of Brian’s law practice where he represents both individuals (in their estate planning and as Executors, Trustees, beneficiaries and guardians) as well as financial institutions who serve as Executors, Trustees and Guardians.

Brian is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Indiana State Bar Association.  He has been a speaker for continuing legal education seminars and served as a Judge Pro-Tem for the local Probate Court.
